The octagon represents the reality outside the human, while the inner septagon representing the inner one; think of the seven chachras, which I did experience in the summer of 1984.

The apple is the intended image, as it is the traditional fruit that Eve presents to Adam in the Genesis myth, one of similar stories, signifying emerging consciousness; that beginning that we seek to retrieve in our human fascination and my own, with origins.
