2013-02-13; 10:14am, Wednesday. Sunny and mild, winter has absconded. Diary: Handout docket design described. ~~I go into some detail about my design of the handout docket that will accompany my audio talks. ~~ Last night it was 11-pm when I shut my desktop down. All evening, except for the nine pm CBC news hour with dishes, I had worked on the design of the html5 handout docket for my audio talks. I needed to make this more workable and user friendly, since many talks have handouts, some of which are complex, such as for the China talk. I wanted to have a design that would enable the user to display the handout and then click a return link on this handout that would bring it back to the point of departure. I did have a primitive working example of this for one item in my New Testament talk. Its design was based on a fluke insight that became forgotten (2010!) as I solved other problems, but was rediscovered while I upgraded the New Testament audio file to the HTML5 markup. So, last night I first applied the old design to the other three handouts of that talk. That done, I started to look at how I could apply the HTML5 to this design, which I did. Next it became clear that this ‘handout-docket’ file as I called it, also needed its own style sheet and styling. The styling is always slow, because I have to use trial and error for the various design ideas that pop up in my had. For example I wanted to add an arrow to go with the return link. Well, how do you put an arrow ß? Or à! Not here, but on the web page. That html code inside [] looks like this [→] for an arrow to the right. But after all this, I now have a design that is flexible enough to be applied to other talk handouts. If I am up to it, I will put a direct link in this document to the handout in question. Writings: Coffee inspiration transcribed. ~~Four topics are outlined: searching for origins, origin of evil and good, changing god images and entangled interconnectedness.~~ This morning during my after breakfast coffee, I had an inspiration for my up coming talk ‘My Belief Explored’. Below follows the transcription of the handwritten recorded inspiration from page 30 of the yellow ‘Desk-Tech’ spiral note book. Hand written notes start, [] contain additions during transcription>> 2013-02-13, Wed. 9:50am. Contemplation during my 2nd coffee of breakfast - post. My Belief Explored: 1. Search for origins (creek, humanity, teachings), existence. [humanity]= own identity. 2. The origin of evil and good. 3. The images of the godhead (appearances of the Holy) - the other ßà our own identity. [ß à meaning]- interaction. 4. Entanglement & Interconnectedness [going] from the mysterious to the understood. [worked out a bit more:] 1. Purpose: So we understand our own origins and get to know it & then act on that. 2. Arises from consciousness & the heart; includes all experience as valid - exploring the range & realm of human experience (1). (1) making it known. [this is the suffering and sacrifice aspect of existence] 3. God image arises & changes in a process of interaction with me as participating participant in the mystery of Existence Divine. 4. We are a mystery [ourselves] and in the mystery, but we know things too, but a little at the time - all would wipe us out - but is accumulative. [this knowing] Q[uestion]: Can we secure it [this knowing] before the earth is destroyed? Are there other explorers of the mystery of Existence Divine? - How to contact. <
