Diary:  About many talks and one unposted entry.

~~Monday was filled with coffee talks, phone calls, a little bit of web work and along snooze; retirement does have it challenges and I love it.~~

Last night I met with Shirley at her spur of the moment and did not even clean up from supper.  This because, since we were to meet at Glenmore landing, I wanted some shots of the late sun.  This I did, with some success, but only just at around six forty pm.  This made me about half an hour early for the ‘coffee’ and gave me some time to study the controls of my Canon camera, while waiting for Shirley who is always nicely on time.
	With the coffee of the Spanish variety ordered we talked to fill the evening until about ten pm.  We share family, personal, political and religious events and ideas, so there are not many gaps in our conversations.  Shirley is going to her retreat for the weekend and we planned our cultural event for late this month.

Coffee with Jack in the afternoon lasted about the regular two hours and we too had lots to talk about.  It turned out that he may be able to get me in touch with a colleague who knows the local ethnic scene.  I am looking for such a contact in connection with my upcoming talk in November.  So, I hope this opportunity will come to materialise.
	Jacj and I keep each other up to date on the events in our lives, talk politics and share experiences, some dating back many years, as we are both cruising through the seventies!  Jack is enjoying the book “the Inconvenient Indian” by Thomas King, which I lent him.  
	This author is an excellent story teller, informed about the subject and a straight shooter, but in a way that leaves room for faults on both sides.  In other words it is not a book seeking restitution, but is aimed at understanding and moving on.

Thanks to all my activities, I did not get yesterday’s entry posted and only worked a little bit on the setting up the redesigned gallery albums.  These activities included also two long phone calls, plus some web news cruising which I usually do and not to mention a good long snooze.  
	So, all in all, I am a busy man, not regretting one minute of it!  But, since I do want to do some album work, I’m calling it quits here and now.
