2016-01-07; 9:17am, Thursday.  Overcast, snow and cold temps.  This is winter as we know it.

Diary:  Snowy weather and potpourri. 

~~Old Man Winter gives us a blast, I resolve the link problem and socialise.~~

In spite of planet wide warming and the el Ninjo current, Old Man Winter is rising to the occasion and making felt its power.  There is some wind, but not much is needed at these temps.  My ultimate winter claim is that I got frost bitten by walking too fast!  I know this does not bring the house down, but it does brings an inner smiley to my face J!  
	I did get my web page link problem resolve.  I had used an discarded file link with the same name, but with the ‘html’ extension instead of the currently required ‘php’ one.  I detected it by making the ‘spelling’ double check.  This is one of three checks to make in such a case.  The others are the spelling of the file name itself and the file path check.  This I learned to do in my Sait Polytech web courses of 2010 and 2011.

At Juliet’s we managed to add two more pages to her story, have our conversations and cook the meal, while Juliet had the salad all prepared.  I also sent some emails for her and by the time I left is was ten past eight.  
	In the evening I called Derrick trying out my WinFone.  It worked fine, good connection and sound quality; not all smart phones are created equal in this regard.  Derrick or Metta now, is back from his retreat and adjusting to social life again.  He treasures peace and quiet, with which both John and I also are familiar.  And I did manage to write and send Jan’s birthday card before the five pm mail pick up.<10:45am~
