Diary: Writing and sorting progress:

~~Most of my time I spend on sorting ’stuff’ and writing my essay ‘World View’, but some on visiting with Rene and Don.~~

Today, up at seven, breakfast made, got some money and then paper, bread and yogurt and now at my station for my weekday Daily Entry. This is the second week that I’m using my modified writing scheme. It allocates Monday and Friday for daily entries, while the three weekdays are dedicated to the writing of my World View essay.

Its Narrative chapter is now over three thousand words long, as I am starting on my secular experience from 1955 to 1982. My plan is to follow this with sections on New Thought, Personal Explorations and my Retirement Journey.

Yesterday Don and I met at the Kingsland market again, where it was rather quiet. I had soup with some bread catching some lunch. Don and I usually chat about our daily doings, but also about some philosophical, religious and political ideas and or events. Don lent me ’s last book which has good thoughts for around the year in various areas of life experience. Tolstoy composed several books like that, but this last one is considered the pinnacle of all three. He collected sayings from the twenty thousand books he had in his library and added his own wisdoms to those, making an intriguing mix.

It [Alberta Views] is giving me some insights into Alberta’s political meanderings under Klein, who was well liked, but governed poorly.

On Tuesday Rene came over to give me a ride to a medical supply store for which I paid him some and treated him at the Good Earth on Forth. From there I stopped at ShelfLifeBooks and spotted the twenty year anniversary issue of the ‘Alberta Views’ periodical. It is giving me some insights into Alberta’s political meanderings under Klein, who was well liked, but governed poorly. From there I walked home picking up a free National Post at the UPS shop and wrote on my essay later on.

Wednesday morning was dedicated to essay writing, followed by lunch and a good long snooze. In the evening I did some serious organising, which extended into Thursday evening as well. My aim was to use the freed up shelve space in the storage for items from my bedroom shelves. These I sorted through and labelling them before reshelving them in the storage. Much of this material concerns my talks, studies and some Left_Hand art work as well as personal documentation. I made good progress here and now have about three freed up shelves in the bedroom. Much remains to be done, but progress is being made in that I now have a better ideas of what I have and where it is, labelled and identified.
<9:53am and 10:07~
P.S: Coffee with John at 10:30am.
