Diary: Weekend report various calls daily doings:

~~Beside the regular weekend activities I received unexpected calls from Don and Shirley and made one myself.~~

Friday aft John and I had coffee at the Purple Perk and he told me that Annie will take coding classes for 2d games this summer; way to go Annie! Both are also doing regular exercise classes; such caring parents that Tammy and John are.

Friday morning I made my daily entry for the weekdays and now on Monday for those of the weekend. On Saturday I made lists of topics to address in the chapters Narrative, Belief and Teachings of ‘My World View’ essay that I work on during the three central weekdays. I also spent much time reading the weekend Globe and Mail and still have to finish the fine three page folio by on Brazil’s Amazon basin exploitation.

It is something I noted for myself about a year ago in that our tiny-ness as compared to the cosmos' vastness, makes our conscious knowing about it, all the more amazing.

On Sunday it was on to the Palliser with just four hearers who braved the cold attending in addition to Herman and Denise. Herman was all inspired by ’s ‘Zoomable Universe’, a talk full of ideas but not fully digested. But, I know how that also happens in some of my own talks, so it is a give and take as we go. This author, Herman reported, points out how amazing it is that we humans on our tiny planet are conscious of as much of the universe as we do. It is something I noted for myself about a year ago in that our tiny-ness as compared to the vastness of the cosmos makes our conscious knowing about it, all the more amazing.

Sunday evening I got an other surprise call from Shirley and this time she was not in a hurry, so we had a fine conversation. I also called Elisabeth and had a long conversation with Larry, who comes to our Sunday meetings, but had not been since the Holidays. Don also called and we talked about a various activities in our lives, including a letter he plans to write. I closed the Sunday evening off with a glass of wine after the news and retired as around midnight.

This morning I was up at seven am and made a trip to get the paper and some yogurt before breakfast even. It still felt cold, but temps are arising! This aft back to more organising and sorting, of which I did quite a bit last Thursday and Friday, with my big bedroom table now well arranged! Slow and steady does it with much persistence as well.
Off I go.
