Since last Friday, winter has relented, giving us a reprieve with melting snow and disappearing ice. And the sun is not far behind with its warmth this time of year, climbing rapidly now towards the equinox - equal night and day light times - about four weeks away yet.

Then he went over to help his mother, who had found out about my new initiative of enlisting cleanup help. Later on we had lunch at Edelweiss at my request. I had not been there for several years to eat and also wanted to buy some good Dutch kitchen towels. It all worked out fine and I now am into my second cleaning stage.
On Sunday, Jack spoke at the Palliser for the CLEC activity with time to spare, which we used for a group discussion on various topics. Jack facilitates this with much skill making it a productive and satisfying event.
Today Elisabeth is off to Nepal where she will arrive 24 hours from now, flying via Vancouver and South China. One month of trekking is her plan, being such an enterprising friend at her age.
