Diary: Saturday essay and dinner:

~~Kabob dinner with Michelle motivates essay composition, but I forego a breakfast.~~

My plan for more daily entries did not materialise, but my work on my talk was crowned with a 1700 word composition on Saturday as I finally sat down to compose it. An incentive was that Michelle had suggested to go for dinner in the evening. This I used to stay focussed on finally composing a narrative combining pieces from the various false starts I’d made earlier. It worked; I was happy with the four page essay which I used to guide my talk “World Belief Origin” on Sunday. The talk went well and my audience - Garda and Hanna all told - was very appreciative of it. We also had lots of cookies, as I had brought 8 macrons from the Patisserie!

The talk went well and my audience - Garda and Hanna all told - was very appreciative of it. We also had lots of cookies …

The Saturday dinner at Kabob - Persian kitchen - had well prepared lamb, but the rice was a bit hard and the salad too chunky. The place became really busy shortly after our arrival; so good timing on our part. Once home, Michelle and I chatted yet for a bit until around nine, as I still had to do my final prep for the talk. So thanks Michelle, your dinner idea was great all around.

This morning I’d planned to join my colleagues for breakfast, but felt a bit dizzy as I got up preparing to go. Thus, I laid down some more to sleep and this helped and here I am composing this entry!
I plan to post my ‘World Belief Origin’ on my website and will make a link to it from here below under writings.

Writings: World Belief Origin essay:

~~I explain here the objective of my talk and essay with a links to my website “Topical” and “Talks” categories.~~

The ‘World Belief Origin’ essay outlines a narrative origin for our world population at this time in human history, by combining the many handed down narratives with the findings of modern science. This common and extended narrative goes back to when humans actually began to populate the planet. This populating process has been a shared experience across all of humanity and holds many reasons for our diverse human community to make common cause for the benefit of all.
