Humans, animals and plants all rejoice in the warm spring weather we are having for a whole week, well deserved I add for as far we that can apply. I say this to counter those who say ‘we’re gonna pay for this’.
The first load of laundry is get cleaned up, with two more to go and switch time in about 30 minutes. No coffee with John as he is ‘off campus’ this week, but this aft Jack and I meet for our monthly coffee.

Yesterday I made my way to the Palliser again for our CLEC meeting with friends and for a word of wisdom from our ‘director’ Herman. On the way back home I took some interesting shot of the Telus building to be from an unusual angle. I usually don’t come to that spot, but my bus stop has been moved, hence the different angle to view this strange structure.
Last Friday pm I visited Steve Leung to get some advice on my ‘end of life’ directions in regard to resuscitation; it all depends on my quality of life at that time is his advice. On Saturday I vacuumed the floors through out and plan to wash kitchen and bathroom floors later this week. Actually I may do them tonight as I’ll be busy every day later on.
Last Wednesday’s memorial service for Ed Bunn, my former colleague was well attended and I connected with some of my former colleagues who were there as well. Bob gave me a ride to the LRT at the AMA office on the way home. I’d taken a taxi on the way out as the busses did not come close enough and it being rush hour that ride cost me close to 30$$. But I’m doing o.k. without my car thanks to my transit pass and help from friends.
Laundry load time and second switch due at 10:15am, which is after coffee time, which reminds me to go and get my ‘Globy’ now. The Globies were gone so I took a Herald to read about the UPC convention. Next I had my coffee break, read some articles and then onto the third load loading. Now back at the keyboard at 10:39am with the last load to dry at about 11:15, which gives me just time for lunch before that.
