Coffee with John this morning before any thing else as we meet at 8am or some there after. Next is the paper and then back to my station, completing my interrupted breakfast. We discussed my funny emails and a possible TV purchase. My present set is a crt from 1994 and generates a snow storm when turned on turning me off!
For last Wednesday evening I had been invited for one more dinner at Sarah and BJ’s as they are leaving.
For last Wednesday evening I had been invited for one more dinner at Sarah and BJ’s as they are leaving. We had a pleasant evening with excellent food as both are good chefs. The big dog Louie will go to Thunder Bay so I said good bye to him as well. He is very affectionate with me when ever I set foot in the door.
Yesterday I dropped my overdue books at the library via #3-bus, then took #7 bus at 2nd street to go to London Drugs on 8th street to get some printer ink and peruse a TV on sale and possibly a new amplifier as my old Kenwood is close to malfunctioning.
Then it was on to Marcus for icecream with Elisabeth whom I joined in the line up there. Prior I had an unexpected chat at the Beano with a couple from Quebec who were an a Western prairie tour. I suggested they visit Fort Qu’Appelle near Regina.
Elisabeth and I chatted while enjoying our ice creams, a baby scoop in a cup for us older folks! From there I walked slowly back home assisted by my cane, which has become my assistant since last fall on longer walks.
