Yesterday I dropped off my birthday card and treat for Tammy, leaving it with Roy who was at his store. I continued from there to pick up Shirley for our coffee talk, which took place at the Wave on Ninth and Seventeenth, which is our preferred location.
We roamed the field from Arthur, via Plato to Gilbran, all articulated with some jokes, humour and personal stories. Just like the Leighton Gallery visit, this one was an uplifted one as I call that for myself, a celebration of a much appreciated and enduring friendship.
I finalised uploading the audio presentation of last Sunday’s and the related file updates and send emails with links for my site to JK and Shirley. I had given Shirley a copy of my poem relating to my talk and the Boston bombings. She responded by telling me about her writing poems in her youth. This prompted our mutually relating the process of inspired composition while writing one word after another, not knowing which one will be next.
Last night I got started on collecting my ‘formwork’, not to pour concrete as in construction, but to have a working way for visitors to leave a comment. Once that works, I’ll be ready to put my site ‘out there’ by means of alerting the search ‘engines’ to this new comer.
Before I take that bold step, I do want to have all my categories marked up for microdata detection, the way I have my Daily Entry category. It is all a part of the publishing operation, but my skills were too weak and limited until now to go over to this publication stage.
I did do some house cleaning in that my apartment is vacuumed now. Next are the floors and bathroom, with the laundry due either today or tomorrow. Coffee with John later on, which will be my chance to get a bit more change for the laundry machines.
