My visit to the dentist turned into a long one due to delays and no action, except for an estimate of work to be done - an ouch in the wallet - and an appointment in about two weeks.
I walked back from downtown with a read in the Memorial library and two little walk sides rest, but it was a bit more than I should have done. I think four to six blocks is the limit right now.
I posted my little commemorative daily entry of yesterday. As tribute to this four year anniversary I finally posted a small but presentable feed back form with a comment explaining my website. It is called ‘contactNabout’ and you can leave a comment, name and email, all voluntary. The form does check the input, but that needs some more refining and it stores the supplied info in a little file.
I started with a form back on 2009-07-01, but never really got to a functioning stage with it, even though it did work. The checking of input was beyond me until I had taken my php-course at Sait, now about two years ago. One thing I want to do yet, is incorporate the new HTML5 form markup features.
First on my list now is to get my site ready for google’s sniffers, a thing I avoided since my feedback form remained so marginal. Other plans and possibilities arise as I let my imagination wander, but googlability comes first.
On a-side note, I wanted to write ‘googlability’, but my spell checker turned that into ‘gullibility’. This may be a synchronistic - a meaningful coincidence - event, as well as a warning reminder for user of the search engines! Are you gullible, is the question to ask yourself when you use them!
