The laundry load #1 is due for the dryer in about 35 minutes. Later I have ‘handover’ lunch with Herman, this since I had my talk last Sunday and he needs the tape recorder back and the handout materials. I had the misfortune to turn my RCA recorder off when I put it in its case, so the tape was the only audio record.
Last night I transferred the tape sound file to my computer, but I had forgotten how to do that and it took me a while. However, the audio file is now on my computer, ready for editing, conversion to ‘ogg’ format and posting on my web site.
On the way to ShelfLifeBooks, I stopped by at the renovated and improved Sony store as well as the now adjacent Lindt store, which is a den of chocolate temptations. Sony has a reasonably priced tuner amplifier combination, which will be on my list since the present old Kenwood unit has not functioned well for years.
On Saturday I’ll stop at Juliette’s to drop off her copy of ‘Zealot’ by Reza Aslan and combine that with a visit to Sharen. This reminds me that after lunch I need to go by DJ’s for produce and fruit.
I need to prepare my talk handouts for posting on the computer, all to go with the mentioned sound files. So, I’ll by pass the writings and get on with this web preparation activity relating to my last talk.
