Yesterday, to the minute, I was sitting in the audience at Annie’s school gym, with family awaiting the bell ringing performance in which Annie was to participate. She had looked forward to this ever since she had seen this when still in kindergarten and had almost missed it this one year on account of the Vienna visit. But, yesterday there she was ringing to heart’s content, but on the count with about twenty class mates.
After this grade four performance it was the turn of the kindergarten pupils to sing there songs and chants their choruses. It was a lively performance and inspiring to see the eagerness of these young humans in all they do as participants in life at this early stage. They grow up in a world interconnected by electronics and global events, while my years in kindergarten were the first WW2 years, though I did not know then.
As adult you know that life has many different options to put it gently, some of which are daunting, but life continues regardless and we are wise to enjoy the treasures that come our way. So, hear is thanks for your bell tolling Annie!
Rene stopped by and treated me to a coffee at Sebastian’s. Thank you my friend. I took the opportunity to explain my defunct Epson printer with its remaining cartridges to him and asked him to sell it on Kijijy, splitting what ever he got for it. To this he agreed.
Later on Elisabeth dropped in to pick up the bag I’d taken home with me for her last Sunday. She had to go to work then, while I had a ride with Thomas. Late last night I finally had an email from Howard regarding our coffee meet. He suggests the 29th this time, but that is a Sunday, so we’ll have to see.
Today I plan to make a start with house cleaning, do some grocery shopping and get in tune for the Christmas events that are now about seven days away. Last night I searched for ‘doodle art’ and found its source to be in Vancouver to my surprise and a search with ‘moira mandala’ the artist, also gave quite a few responses. Next I have to get a good photograph taken, one that allows for a full scale enlargement, before I get the art work mounted and framed.
