The following paragraphs were the start of today’s Diary, but turned to being of a ‘Writings’ nature, so I moved them to this heading here now.
Overnight the last batch of my talks audio files took about five (5) hours to upload to my new site location and I slept through most of it! I have a phrase for that: ’The wonders of technology.’ And it is up to us humans to make good use of that and not bad use, which reminds me of my Sunday talk theme of spirituality.
The human brain is wired for making associations and the above paragraph’s chain of ideas shows that! That process of making associations is similar to the one I deploy when doing my Left_Hand art work; you let ‘things’ come to you without subjecting them to the usual ‘not this but that’ process.
To set aside that critical judgement is something to be learned as technique, but also as value. It is part and parcel of the creative process, which needs to run its course to give full expression to what needs expressing. Once that process is finished and the product has been produced, then the critical faculty can have its turn. This two processes operate mutually exclusive of each other, but can alternate.
However, I promised to write on the migration of the holy today and that still needs to be done in preparation for my talk. Yet again, it will need to be postponed because I have to get my copy material ready before leaving here in about half an hour.
