, Friday. Bright, mild and un-wintery weather, but I’ll take all that I can get!

I hope you enjoy reading

Diary: Long walk and coffees:

~~I do business on my coffee walks, from belt fixing to copying.~~

Yesterday was mostly taken up with my new website work, even into the night and overnight - see below. However, I did get my haircut and had coffee with John next, which was followed by a trip to ‘Art Central’ - still open - and its close by classy shoe shop to get my new leather belt shortened. This the boss there did ‘Pro Deo’, which means for God, that is at no charge! I’ll be back thereJ!

All these visits gave me a good walking workout from one to four pm, so I had a well deserved snooze after that. Elisabeth just called and we’ll meet for coffee at eleven (11) am, which I can combine with some copying I need to get done for my Sunday talk.

Writings: Moved Diary writing and thoughtful reflections:

~~I reflect on the associative nature of our human thought process.~~

The following paragraphs were the start of today’s Diary, but turned to being of a ‘Writings’ nature, so I moved them to this heading here now.

Overnight the last batch of my talks audio files took about five (5) hours to upload to my new site location and I slept through most of it! I have a phrase for that: ’The wonders of technology.’ And it is up to us humans to make good use of that and not bad use, which reminds me of my Sunday talk theme of spirituality.

The human brain is wired for making associations and the above paragraph’s chain of ideas shows that! That process of making associations is similar to the one I deploy when doing my Left_Hand art work; you let ‘things’ come to you without subjecting them to the usual ‘not this but that’ process.

To set aside that critical judgement is something to be learned as technique, but also as value. It is part and parcel of the creative process, which needs to run its course to give full expression to what needs expressing. Once that process is finished and the product has been produced, then the critical faculty can have its turn. This two processes operate mutually exclusive of each other, but can alternate.

However, I promised to write on the migration of the holy today and that still needs to be done in preparation for my talk. Yet again, it will need to be postponed because I have to get my copy material ready before leaving here in about half an hour.
<9:51am.
