No unusual escapades this weekend. I did walk to the Palliser on Sunday, but that turned out to bit too much for my left leg and I had to go slowly for the last few bocks. The leg seems ok most of the day, except in the morning. Yet it keeps talking to me, so I have decided to see Tim again for some physio attention.
Last Saturday night I wrote - in pencil - quite a bit regarding the high god image in New Thought and posted Friday’s daily entry. Last night Michelle stopped by for my Toronto photo book and my suggestions for a few venues that might be worth a visit.
Sunday morning I spend an hour collecting some photos for Thomas, who is working on an anniversary presentation for Herman. This one will take place on 26a street SW, where Gabriella and Thomas contribute to a New Thought group. That same day in the morning we will have a little celebration at the Palliser with our own group. Coordination seems difficult at times, even for a celebratory event.
Regarding the missing MH370 flight, there still is no resolution about where it is and let alone as to what happened. The whole world is involved actively in the search - more than a dozen nations - or like myself, staying up to date as the events unfold.
On Saturday I heard on a CBC radio interview that the plane’s cargo may have included lithium batteries. This is dangerous stuff, as those can self ignite if not packed and stored properly. Not good news, but the only good news now can be the locating of the plane and hopefully the data and voice recorders.
I’m pretty sure that regulations regarding flight changes by pilots and data recorders will change. This technology dates back to the 1960 and 70-ties. The parent company I worked for - Leigh Instruments - was the developer of those first black boxes back then in 1970. Today the data could be uploaded to the cloud, via a satellite link on a continuous basis, no searching required.
