Yesterday I did manage to get my card and flowers at their destination, for which I got a surprise thank you from Tammy. The traffic at around noon was quite heavy, which resulted a late return, too late for a nap, since I had to see Tim at two pm.
I took the bus down and walked back, stopping by at ShelfLifeBooks for a shelf scan and located Thomas Moore’s new book on ‘A Personal Religion‘. This author wrote the very successful ‘Taking Care of the Soul’ and may have another hit with this one. For me, the book seems too focused on the personal and does not appear - at first scan - to address issues in human society at large.
I’m done with my physio now and had a relaxing afternoon, until it was time to cook. After supper I marked up three Daily Entries and posted them on my web site. I also emailed Derrick with a thank you and a link to old Amiga floppy images being retrieved.
After midnight I made some notes on ideas that I had mulled over in the afternoon, which I will report on under ‘Writings’, below. Later on lunch with Herman, then coffee with John and the rest is open.
