I had the notion yesterday, that I was missing some late night notes from the day before and indeed I spotted some late last night. These I will now enter as part of this writing here, following immediately below.
2014-05-05; 11:56pm.
Maybe I am doing this restructuring myself right now in the renaming (10 points) of the 5-Theo-stages and adding the structuring function + the adaptation process [TPPC + Bound + Revel] of tradition and human conscious ‘expansion‘.
06-00:08: Soteriology = change; in that it defines hot to change for the better.
TPPC + restruct fcn + Boundary + Revelation [ all combine into ] New Redemption = Conscious R’n.
So far these late notes, with their worked out and comments following below:
The first sentence timed at 11:56pm, refers to the idea that renaming the five ‘stages’ or rather categories of Theology (Theo) and combining these with the ten points - of the human experience framework - is in fact the restructuring process itself in action. In other words I am describing what needs to be done, while I am doing the very ’thing’.
As I realise this in my late night insight, I recognise that the whole group of ideas of the restructuring function, the ‘TPPC + Bound + Revel’ and the expansion of human consciousness are part components and part content of this restructuring process.
Aside:
TPPC stands for the condition defined by ‘Time, Place, People and Circumstance‘. This condition is defining of the revelation as that was experienced in the human traditions, and is today as new ideas, insights and inspirations.
The boundary condition is encountered when the conventional wisdoms have had their say, without resolving the problem at hand. The boundary condition is the pre-condition for a revelation insight or idea to emerge addressing the quandary. [Back at 10:34am after load switch and coffee break.] These concepts have been explained earlier and are elaborated here for reference.
End of aside.
The second late cum early note relates my insight on soteriology. What is the nature and function of this category in the frame work of Theology? This was the question I was entertaining, as the first two, Cosmogony and Anthropogeny are rather clear in our modern schema of things as is the next, Law and Community.
Soteriology is central to all religious traditions, for which a modern - adapted - interpretations needed to be found, I felt at that late night hour. Then - as this was my boundary situation at that moment - the idea ‘change’ ‘struck’ me; a revelation no less.
The rest of that note deals with this insight and refers again to the explained TPPC condition. This condition, combines [the plus signs] with the restructuring function, the boundary condition and the revelation. All this taken together suggests a new interpretation of Redemption for our modern day.
That is, today we are now conscious of the process for us humans to define and pursue our own redemption. That is what is meant by my “Conscious R’n” - conscious redemption - at the note’s end. Our redemption is in the making conscious of this process of redemption and so work our own change as humans, always informed by our traditions and ethics.
This concludes my writing for today as I conclude the elaboration of those two late night notes from 2014-05-05/06.
