The wrecker is working away in the back alley, after having demolished four old wooden houses of early Calgary. I’m sorry to see them go, but this is something that is going on in two other places nearby along second street and twenty first and fourteenth avenues. The wrecker is working away in the back alley, after having demolished four old wooden houses of early Calgary. I am making quite a few typing mistakes, because I am getting to know my newAsus T100 tablet! I am into my third day of the seven day return period and putting it to good use. Yesterday I managed to get the MS-office applet icons to show up and created my first word document. The day before I was busy just learning to operate this tiny computer and getting it connected to the internet wirelessly. It has no Ethernet cable, but does have Bluetooth and a usb3 port. Yesterday afternoon Juliet and I spent an hour and a half at Staples looking at an Apple iBook-Air with added keyboard. Juliet does not like the Dell laptop with the Windows 8 with which I have been helping her. Last Wednesday after noon I initiated the purchase of this Asus tablet after deliberating for a year or more, vacillating between a smart phone and a tablet. My screen is detachable and can function a standalone tablet without the keyboard. I’ll try detaching it once I am done and then type from the separated key board, but I don’t think that will work. I did install the mouse from my laptop, because using the mouse pad was torture. I just tried it and the connection is broken totally, but restored when I attached the tablet to the board.
