Yesterday’s writing reached the eleven am clock mark, marking its end. This on account of my habits to have lunch at eleven, while I listen to the radio news, which in turn is followed by a snooze.
By exception yesterday, I went for an afternoon walk and a tea at Savour compete with paper to read, after all I told myself, it is summer and I should enjoy its short season here in Calgary. And I did! On the way home I visited the office of the child psychology group that has been in this neighbourhood for years and obtained their brochure.
After supper last night I packed up the bottles and papers to drop them off at the recycling bins, combining that with a much needed self-serve carwash. This took about an hour and a half all together, but made me feel good for having done this. I also made a list of things to do for my trip. It’s time to focus on this now. P.S: I forgot to mention the purchase of “The Egyptian Myths” by Garry J. Shaw.
Later this morning I will meet up with Elisabeth at the Stampede for a seniors day visit. I plan to visit the Agricultural exhibit and also look for one or two appropriate presents – textile possibly – to take along. I don’t know what Elisabeth’s interests are, but they will be different.
