Early yesterday morn, I was on the way to renew my car registration and guided a lost Winnipeg trucker to the same spot. He was originally from Quebec and I told him I’d worked north of Amos in the 1960-ties. He said, he’d been all over North America and called it quits at his age. The registration for my car was 85$$, close to my Safeway shopping bill.
Next on my list was the Hudson Bay store, where I purchased a summer combination that I had liked on Sunday, as well as some socks, all on sale still. From there I stopped by my barber for a cut in preparation for my journey. Then on to library for a washroom visit and daily paper read and a search.

This was followed by a rest stop at ShelfLife and some browsing. No one behold I spotted my old acquaintance from the early 1980-ties titled ‘Portable Jung’ edited by Joseph Campbell, and … I bought it too yet! I’d sold my old copy a long time ago, but upon browsing it realising that Campbell’s selection would give me a good review of all the collective work readings of Jung, I have done over the years.
It as well past twelve before I returned home and high time for lunch and a good snooze after all that walking. The rest of the aft I browsed the news, wrote a note and read a bit. In the evening I stopped by at ‘With The Times’ on 11th street and 15th Ave, which now is out of business. They were on 4th and 22nd here in Mission, but moved about six years ago, displaced by pricey development that only opened this spring.
