Our trusty Elm tree’s leaves lasted until late into the season this year and I took several shots of our tree’s passing states of beauty. Soon the leaves that shield me from the street light’s direct rays will be gone and I’ll be subjected to this unwanted light inside my dwelling. But, outside this same light will be and already is much appreciated. Such are the - some - of the vicissitudes of life.
Soon the Elm's leaves that shield me from the street light’s direct rays will be gone…
Last evening’s session of Herman’s course was well attended and we had a good discussion. I had brought my long neglected Panasonic sound recorder, complete with microphone to record Herman’s presentation. Once home, I played the start of it back on the recorder itself. It sounded acceptable, with the down load to my computer being the next challenge.
I have the required mini USB cable for it. Some devices have the micro, while the third option is the full sized USB connector. This I had explained to me at the Source store yesterday in Bankers Hall. I’m curious to compare the sound reproduction quality between my trusty RCA and this Panasonic ‘470’ model, both being solid state reorder types.
After my physio I had tea with John who plans to visit his mother this weekend. After the tea I made my way to the ShelfLifeBooks, where I spotted an Hieronymus Bosch calendar which - of course - I could not pass up. I hardly need a wall calendar I have already two!
Last night Thomas drove me home, which finally gave me a chance to give him the 'brepois' pocket calendar I had for him. We did not connect much this summer on account of his stay in Fairmont and my travels this year. Last night’s meeting also gave me a chance so say hello again to Jack, Ron and Judy, who are all taking in Herman’s evening course titled ‘Cosmic Consciousness’.
Yesterday I did not do any sorting, so today I’ll have to double up so to speak. My dining table keeps accumulating stuff, which I need to put away on a daily basis. No web page mark up was done either, which leaves about eight entries to do later on today. But, I will try to give Don a call today, before the Halloween madness descends on us on Friday.
