Convention:
Before starting in on this morning writings, two house keeping items. One is my use of the coined word combination ‘ExisDivin’, which is a contraction of Existence Divine. I need this artifice to have a short enough label to fit in the title of the ‘Writings’ section.
This allows it to show in the yearlist for 2015 on my website 'Scribe' category and be sortable by alphabet in the writings yearlist column. This leading designation ‘ExisDivin’ will then group all these entries together for easy look up at the varying dates.
My second item is that I restrict myself in time to complete my daily entry for the day before lunch time or noon in most cases. This makes for an interrupted line of reasoning at times, for my reader as well as myself.
I do this also because of the creative nature of whole process of writing on Existence Divine as it goes from one insight to another. This results in partially completed ideas at times. I hope to gather these ideas later to compose an essay type presentation.
This concludes the house keeping.
Continuation from yesterday:
I will continue with yesterday’s theme, where I identified our present global situation as a boundary situation, but did not provide a supporting argument and went on to explain in the ‘aside’ the difference between revelation and insight. This was followed by my view that we need to work on the mentioned boundary situation using our conscious abilities and resources.
A boundary situation1) must be recognised as such and that happens often by means of experiment and experience. When and where change is met with resistance and defensive attitudes on an ongoing basis, then a boundary may have been encountered.
Recalling yesterday’s notion of time, place, people and circumstance I suggest that our global situation today is a boundary situation in that our human traditions are now in close proximity of one another giving rise to tensions, conflicts and at times violence.
Other symptoms of the boundary situation are global pollution of the oceans and atmosphere, the over killing of wild life and the absence of comprehensive strategy to address these problems. Instead we have the old local, limited goals and aims of profit making, pollution based growth and disregard of impact on the human living conditions or nature in general.
… recognise the situation that we are in and acknowledge that we have encountered a planet wide boundary situation that is starting to close in on humanity like a hangman’s noose.
I am suggesting that we should recognise the situation that we are in and acknowledge that we have encountered a planet wide boundary situation that is starting to close in on humanity like a hangman’s noose.
Our present situation can be analysed in terms of the four parameters of time, place, people and circumstance mentioned above. My own study in this regard is mainly that of human value framework with its identities, religions, cultures and evolutional adaptation. This I consider fundamental, whereas politics, economic and technical activities are based on and function within these mentioned human value framework.
The human traditions and frameworks functioned one independent of the other until the world became closed with the explorations in around 1500 AD and later.
Our boundary situation today is that we now have to define a framework for our planet and all of humanity, while respecting and acknowledging the variety of traditions, cultures, identities and interests that we humans bring to our world roundtable.

1). Boundary situation:
This I have described earlier. For now think of a situation where conventional and known means are not sufficient. You can relate Thomas Kuhn’s idea of paradigm shift here, except that the shift is not known. Before the shift the boundary situation has to be named and recognised. As diagnostic I suggest violent behaviour, unresolved conflicts and resistance to compromise or adaptation. These are the classic defence position, but where change is imperative nevertheless.
