Teaching(s) Extractions Summary.
Taken from Guilbert Writing pad pages 7 through 14 containing the extractions of BlueNote entry #: 4, 5, 10, 11, 15, 20, 21, 29, 30.
#4: Titled ‘Formulation‘, mentions religions in transition, refers to my definition of religion from 1984, my own talks and suggests use of examples for Existence Divine. The process of how to exchange views and convictions is explored with suggested examples from my own life and Africa talk. How to show a parallel between Existence divine and given traditions.
#4A: Titled ‘Teaching Accommodation‘ first refers to old world teachers comparison, sharing of anecdotes and discussion of bible [scripture] creation stories.
This is followed by the following ideas: How to add to a tradition; explain the ‘chosen people’; use of constructed anecdotes (Fox, Murphy); the way I modified teachings from childhood and youth; how to switch from destructive to accommodation attitudes? This is followed by blank page 8.
#5: Refers to the Process of Canada’s ‘Truth and Reconciliation’ committee used to address the ‘Residential School’ internment of Native children.
[Aside: This was a conflict between cultures and an attempt at forced cultural assimilation. This conflict rooted in colonial times and attitudes remains unresolved and is similar to today’s cultural tensions across the globe.]
The notes suggest finding methods to change believes and attitudes, explain how Existence Divine could accommodate diversity, express ways of mutual accommodation, valuing and honouring and confess to and acknowledge mistakes. What are the consequences of not resolving such conflicts?
#10: Titled: ‘Turning Insights into teachings’.
This Note entry combines with Daily Entries [DE] ‘15-07-03 and 02.
DE 03-02 refers to minimise fighting and lists in four (4) the required preconditions to ‘state’, ‘action’ and ‘process’. DE-07-03 states ‘Turning Insights into Teachings’ as an imperative, saying that ‘all insights are here and now’, urging to express what is within. This I take as a personal directive to act upon.
BlueNote entry p.18 follows:
First Teachings:
1. Accept diversity of Humanity; 2. Shared aspects; 3. Are there common origins? This is combined with the points 1+2+3=4 [from the DE above] equals our shared heritage, avoiding fundamentalisms and add 5: sharing & heritage additions in future.
How to navigate diversity, which is confusing when too much and confines when to narrow; some unavoidable. This process we need to learn; how to work a ‘teaching’ into my Now 22 talk?

Notes:
Placing such religions in a structure maintaining a link with the Transcendent [M. Eliade] as each belief structures human experience, defines its identity. The ‘invariants’ are listed relating experience, identity and transcendence, along with authority and meaning. The need to teach each other about held values and search for accommodation.

The revealed truth for today is that we have become responsible ourselves to find solutions. Revelations come only in boundary situation, when known ways have been exhausted. Our call today: ’Save humanity from its own foibles.’
Today we have: Global goal versus TPPact; supreme humanitarian values; old authority needs alignment with today, that is TPP cannot just aim for profits but must also ensure rise in living standards. The buyer of the company’s product makes an investment like the stockholder.

“Existence Divine is my commitment and dedication in humanity’s traditions and our diverse community”. This has these added elements:
motivation; continuous existence & development (< > re-incarnation); emotional independence, recalling and integration; Left_Hand work books 1 thru 5 and expansion.

Religions order experience; many such frameworks; in inter-tolerance in old religions; today inter-tolerance must be added; apply Time, Place, People, Circumstance [TPPC] principle; use anthropology in restructuring; move old believes’ boundaries. [e.g.: Noah and sons]

Daily Entry Writings: “modifying our authority source”
Humans as there own authority; expanded human responsibility; the unquestioned creator; why the reluctance to be authority; taught authority [Taliban] must be superseded.
HandNotes from p.47B:
Authority, good, evil are constructs emerged from human conscious awareness and experience, e.g.: naming and labelling of forces; human process of personification and projection; revelation at the boundary condition appear to come from outside [of our consciousness, out of necessity!]

Considers both Biblical imagery - God Father, Son - and modern concepts - light, source, inspiration. Calls the latter mystical and refers back to the mystics. Calvin’s reluctant quote; does not discuss the person aspect of the father versus the abstract ‘source’ concept.
