First laundry load due in 35 minutes and off we are. Yesterday I met Rene at the Shumir centre at noon, as he had asked me to. After the meeting there we had a coffee at the Good Earth, which is 25 years old this year. It began with the 11 street SW shoppe in 1991. I still remember its little book corner at the east end of it.
After our refreshment Rene was kind enough to take me to the DJ-Market for my produce, where quite a few items were on sale. I bought my regular items plus extra prunes, but forgot the Parsley. I had received a call from the photographer that the proofs were ready and Rene obliged me by driving to the photographer at Glenmore Landing. Once there Rene also had an inquiry, so it was a dual benefit trip. Thank you Rene. Well done!

It was three pm by the time Rene dropped me off at home, giving me a chance for a belated snooze. before it was time to cook supper. After which I scanned some proofs and emailed them to John and Metta, who replied quickly.
I am now working on a plan to identify the twenty odd images, scan and send them complete with a spreadsheet type order form. This will take some doing, but if not done I’ll end up with confusion about what was ordered by whom.
Later in the evening Michelle stopped by to give me some blue berries and cherries, which she had bought in bulk. Thanks Michelle, you’re so generous. She admired the photos of my family in which she had an indirect influence through John to urge Metta to stay for that extra day.
I posted my daily entry for the day and tried out a scan of three photos at once, which I then separated using Adobe’s Photo Elements. This will be one basic part of my procedure, while the other tool will be the spread sheet. I wish myself good luck, patience and endurance in this enterprise :-)!
