Diary: Lunch phone and coffee:

~~Ron and I reconnect over lunch, my Win-fone gets covered and I have coffee with John.~~

Yesterday, Ron had invited me for lunch at a Chinook piazza place. He and Nancy were in town from Comox and doing some shopping. It was good to reconnect as we had done before Ron moved from Calgary. This is their first full season on ‘The Island’ and appears to agree well with them, enjoying nature and making new friends.

Lardeau: The little hamlet where we camped as a family in the eighties for half a dozen years.

Ron told me about a wedding he went to in Kaslo, but that was really Lardeau! The very little hamlet where we camped as a family in the eighties for half a dozen years. That wedding also was in a camp like setting as his pictures showed. In turn I had shared some picture of my birthday celebration of a few weeks ago. We’ll stay in touch with the occasional email, as we have done over the past few years.

After lunch I had my BLU Win-Fone screen cover replaced, which was not that straight forward, since my phone is not common in Canada. I was lucky though, since the ’Smart Phone Genius’ also sells phones like mine and so had the right cutting pattern for it.

After all this, John picked me up at the Mall’s north end and we had our delayed morning coffee. Juliet had asked me not to come, since her family had some birthday activity planned for her. I’ll go and see her later today.

Writings: Delayed:

~~Waiting for my thoughts to take form for expression.~~

My writings are not forgotten and I keep making notes in the evening for my upcoming talk titled "Human Destiny" in November. Yet, writing about that right now intuits as premature. I have the notion that I am working out a theme that needs some more maturing, before I am ready to express it.
