Diary: Atab and curried dinner:

~~I continue with my Atab exercise and report on my visit with Juliet.~~

Late last night, late this morning and … with no heat in the building I was slow to take the covers off. But, here I am typing away at my remote keyboard entering my daily entry on the Atab. This process is becoming smoother, but can still stand some improvements. For example, to get to the end of a line I have to press the function key first and then the right arrow key; so, two keys instead of one. This change in routine is actually what I was looking for and I’m now delivering this to myself -:)!

Juliet had made a nice curried chicken dinner and we had ice cream to boot.

Last night I posted two entries after I returning home from my visit to Juliet, who was in good spirits. We have now started the last chapter to wit 24 of her ‘My Story’. Juliet had made a nice curried chicken dinner and we had ice cream to boot. This last chapter is a difficult one for her, as it reminds her of many painful and frightful experiences in her then young life as a teenage girl.

Writings: Steep hill dream:

~~I describe a motivating dream, which needs some clarification.~~

Time for some writings as these have been neglected of late. I feel empowered by a dream scene from this morning. In this dream scene I finally get into a car after much back and forth. I can’t locate the car key. It does not have a fob I think in the dream, but a metal key instead, like the cars in the seventies. The car itself is new, but a model from the seventies, reminding me of the Chevrolet Caprice, luxurious and powerful.

I get into the car and drive it. I have to get off the SAIT campus and make my way south, but at a split I decide to take the west exit. That road is a bit neglected and in the hollow the pavement is gone due to a rerouting roadwork. There is a bypass section, but it is gravely and steep. I hesitate for its gradient.

You can take in that car some one says. I step on the gas and make it to the crest without a single spin of the wheels. Once there the dream scene alters. I am still sitting in some seat, but looking for some food as I am hungry. I find a tube like container, but it has spent old peanuts in it. I try a few. This is not edible; too old. End of dream, I wake up.

The dream leaves me feeling empowered and with an urge to get on with things.

What stands out from the dream is my success in taking this unusually steep hill as easily as I do in my powerful car. It leaves me feeling empowered and with an urge to get on with things. How to place this dream in my current life is a question that I need to do some work on in the next few days.
