Last day of November, with the 2016th last month around the corner! Cause to reflect as I am now at eighty (80) years of age. An old man? You say? I say my body is old, but it has lasted longer than my cars, computers, camera’s and one house even! And that is all without any claims about warranties. We can’t buy a human made product that has such a long warranty as the human body has life expectancy!
The human experience as a conscious being is unique in all of existence as we know that and we humans must value that and not waste it.
“I’m not complaining“, is what I’m saying about my body now eighty years old. It has served me well and still does. Every morning at the start of my getting up I give thanks to my body “for all the experiences it affords me, enriching my spirit by means of my soul”.
The human experience as a conscious being is unique in all of existence as we know that and we humans must value that and not waste it. But, being conscious and managing our emotion is a challenge to us humans, as is clear from our history and current affairs.
With this writ, I notice that my ‘writings’ type subject matter has invaded the diary section of today’s entry, but life and experience does not come in categorical units. Rather, it resembles the strands of a fancy Persian carpet with its intricate patterns.
Yesterday morning I sorted through a large collection of my web work print outs that I kept since I started my website in 2009. I even came across one showing my first home page with most of the initial categories already showing!
