Yesterday was quite cold with that strong wind, but today we seem to have a real mild Spring day. I met Don at Chinook in the early aft, but had to battle that cold wind walking to get there from the bus stop. Don had brought the Jewish Study bible and a copied letter he wanted to share. I had brought him the tape on Herman’s Franklin talk, the ‘troll’s tongue rock’, Norway, photo and a copy of the essay for my last talk. And since Don drove me home I could hand him my copy of the “Fifty-two Names of God“.
As I said to Michelle, it is likely to outlast me, to which she said I should remain optimistic!
Around supper time Michelle drove us to Ikea, where I paid for our Ikea meatball dinner. Then we were off to spend our money. I bought candles, whereas Michelle spotted two door mats to her liking. Canadian Tire was next, since I also needed a kitchen garbage disposal can. Ikea had nothing suitable and my old one from Canadian Tire since 1994, was on the verge of loosing the closing lid. We found quite a fancy unit on sale. As I said to Michelle, it is likely to outlast me, to which she said I should remain optimistic! We were back home at just after nine pm.
Afternoon today possibly, Juliet and I will have our editing session for the remaining chapter of her book to be edited and at mid sentence, Juliet called! So I know we will meet as planned and also have some items to shop for as well! And even if we don’t finish the edit today, we’ll meet tomorrow to finish the edit.
