Diary: Lunch photos and adaptation mosaic:

~~Morning coffee with John, Don and I meet as old ‘Kingsland’, I arrange and email Juliet’s photos and recall the ‘mosaic’ adaptation process article.~~

Had an eight o’clock coffee and a good chat with John this morning. Annie is booked for volunteering for her summer holidays! She is taking after her maternal grandma, Shirley. John explained ‘containerisation’ of an application program to me. “Can I do that for my website?” and his answer is yes, but it will take some work.

Yesterday I had lunch soup with Don at the old Kingsland Market and tried out a new walk from the Heritage station to the Market. It is a good all-weather path. The market was quite busy and we found some new stands. Don gave me a ride home, which gives us some more chat time as we go. Thanks Don!

In the evening I devised a method to get Juliet’s pictures to her niece cum editor, but some of the files were too big for the mail box. I also composed a print out of the eight photo which I’ll send to Juliet by surface mail. This will enable her to talk to her niece about the pictures I send her by email. It will be the end for now of my involvement with Juliet’s ‘My Story’. Only the epilogue remains, but I told her daughter Sarah about that, so it should not be lost.

I did not write yesterday, but I recalled and located a ‘Trouw’ news paper article on the mosaic type evolution of birds from dinosaurs.

I did not write yesterday, but I recalled and located a ‘Trouw’ news paper article on the mosaic type evolution of birds from dinosaurs. It mentions the now recognised ‘mosaic’ type evolution process. It is the ‘bush’ type process that Jay Gould referred to in the 1990-ties, but was not accepted at the time.

This bush type process is indicative of the change and adaptation process being a search for optimisation of what works well and what does not. The question for me here is, as to what the feedback system might be! A blind process of trial and error, which looks much like the manner in which humans conduct research. This mosaic concept fits with my search for a way to deal with the diversity in human social activities, ideologies and religions, where I intend to use it.
