The May long week end is behind us and with good weather memories. Yesterday too was in the mid twenties as Elisabeth and I met at Britannia’s ‘Village Icecream’ to cool off some. I cashed my gift card and treated us to a ‘children’s’ scoop of 5$$ each.
I have an old O’Reilly shirt for John on the back of which it says: 'Ask some one who knows.'
John just called and he has passed his exam already! We’ll meet at The Perk in about ten minutes. I have an old O’Reilly shirt for John on the back of which it says: “Ask some one who knows.”
Elisabeth and I went for a walk down to Sandy Beach walking along the now official paths and crossing the new suspension bridge. Good exercise, but the slopes took some more time than when I was there, so the many years ago.
<9:24am and now at 10:43> I treated John to coffee and beagle and gave him the old computer book T-shirt, which is a link to the old Nexus Computer book store for the both of us. John has one more major exam to do involving JavaScript, which I also took a course on at SAIT for my webwork skills back in 2011.
Last Sunday I met with friends at the Palliser and also heard back from Tony the barber, but he no longer does any cuts and is looking for a place to call his own. Yesterday Metta called while walking along the water front of Victoria harbour and sent me a shot. He sounded up beat and has been working quite a few hours in his capacity as Clinical Counsellor. So, his new career is taking off! Wonderful and be proud Metta!
