Diary: Icecream Sandy beach and coffee:

~~Elisabeth and I meet for icecream and a walk, John phones for coffee and Metta calls from Victoria.~~

The May long week end is behind us and with good weather memories. Yesterday too was in the mid twenties as Elisabeth and I met at Britannia’s ‘Village Icecream’ to cool off some. I cashed my gift card and treated us to a ‘children’s’ scoop of 5$$ each.

I have an old O’Reilly shirt for John on the back of which it says: 'Ask some one who knows.'

John just called and he has passed his exam already! We’ll meet at The Perk in about ten minutes. I have an old O’Reilly shirt for John on the back of which it says: “Ask some one who knows.”

Elisabeth and I went for a walk down to Sandy Beach walking along the now official paths and crossing the new suspension bridge. Good exercise, but the slopes took some more time than when I was there, so the many years ago.

<9:24am and now at 10:43> I treated John to coffee and beagle and gave him the old computer book T-shirt, which is a link to the old Nexus Computer book store for the both of us. John has one more major exam to do involving JavaScript, which I also took a course on at SAIT for my webwork skills back in 2011.

Last Sunday I met with friends at the Palliser and also heard back from Tony the barber, but he no longer does any cuts and is looking for a place to call his own. Yesterday Metta called while walking along the water front of Victoria harbour and sent me a shot. He sounded up beat and has been working quite a few hours in his capacity as Clinical Counsellor. So, his new career is taking off! Wonderful and be proud Metta!

Writings: My talks lined up:

~~This long week end results in a plan for my upcoming talks and views.~~

This long weekend I made an attempt to write the second chapter of ‘My Apostolic View’, but to no avail. However, it was yesterday that I found a place for this essay and that will be my fourth talk for this year this coming fall. That appears to be the logical place for it after I complete my two up coming talks for June and August titled ‘Humanity’s deep Roots’ and ‘Humanity’s Unfolding’ respectively. Then, for the following talks I plan to address ‘reincarnation’, duality of existence and other topics which together will complete details about that mentioned view.

The attractive part aspect of ‘my view’ is that it is based on my own studies and experiences, preventing me from making claims about teachings or doctrines.

The attractive part aspect of ‘my view’ is that it is based on my own studies and experiences, while enabling me to avoid making claims about teachings or doctrines. A view can be modified with time, experience and be open new discoveries, yet all the while functioning as a guide to function in the world in a meaningful way. At least, that is my intention!
