Diary: Kingsland meet Regina riot and friendly reconnect:

~~Kingsland coffee with Don, webwork trial and Shirley calls.~~

Yesterday’s weather stayed on the cool side with wind and sun. I met up with Don at Kingsland market, where I skipped the 8$ soup and had a 2$ coffee. It was not very busy there, so we had lots of room to sit and walk. Don showed me pictures of his vegetable garden which is quite elaborate for his condo house. I brought him an article by on the 1935 Regina riot against the Bennet government during the depression. We also discussed a possible trip up to Edmonton in the near future.

I did some web work in my index page trying out the modification I mentioned yesterday. I made it work for my daily entries of this year and it should not be too hard to apply this direct link idea to the remaining categories of my site.

In the evening Shirley called after an hiatus of several months. We had a good chat and plan to meet later today for a coffee or so, near Britannia. But, I first have to get my bus-pass for next year, as my present one runs out next week. I also want to get a 150-Canada t-shirt while I’m down town.

Later today, I plan to explore the Daily Entries for the years 2009 through 2012, which are still not posted on my site. The 2010 will need a few weeks to be brought up to the present standard, but the other three years all have their php version ready to go … I think:-)!

Writings: Narrative expanding:

~~My insight of yesterday has numen.~~

Yesterday’s insight about an expanding narrative is an idea that has numinosity - having numen - with me! That is, the idea fascinates me and I sense that it has numerous ways of applying it to my present explorations of the human narrative. Now I’ll have to put that into writings and utterances! I find that this works best using pen and paper, as I make notes while ideas come to me. Typing requires more attention and that hinders the intuition process, whereas hand writing is much more habitual. So, this writing here today will have to wait until later, but the idea has legs as journalists say about a good story. So, stay tuned!
