Yesterday I wrote one page proposal for my essay ‘Humanity’s Unfolding’, a short statement of my intent and purpose for this essay and topic. It still is not fully formed, but the aim is clear. It is to formulate a narrative for our modern humanity that is all inclusive of our people and comprehensive in regard to our heritage as a species.

Also yesterday, I initiated my newly acquired ‘Badger hair’ shaving brush as I had my midweek shave. It was a costly affair, but is a birthday present for myself as the old brush had done its duty. This will probably my last brush as they last ten years or more!
Last night I finally got up the courage to meet the challenge of initiating my new Canon MX922 for the wireless connection it is capable of. The challenge was to operate its display panel with its many functions so that I could enter the long and complex wireless security code. And I did it. I printed the above mentioned one page essay proposal from my Toshiba via this wifi connection.
I still rested quite a few extra hours, catching up I guess from trip to The Netherlands and then the talk last Sunday. Today Herman and I will have our lunch. I have some Dutch papers for him as a surprise instead of the regular articles from here. I also called Ina, my former spouse, regarding my trip as she knows my sisters well and I also have a card for her from Els. I’ll send it by mail, but will scan it first as a loss of it in the mail would be irreplaceable.
