Diary: Recent activities:

~~I expand on some activities since my previous entry.~~

Here I am again after a long dry spell. I have been going out for a Globy in the morning and that results in my not-writing! You may call it a lack of dedication, but some sadness also plays a role. Last week Thursday my sister Els went into the hospice as living in her much loved condo became too difficult.

I know that condo too and was there last August, so I am sad as well.

I know that condo too and was there last August, so I am sad as well. I did send Els a fine flower arrangement for last Friday and heard from my other sister Tieneke that it had arrived. Last Wednesday I talked to Els who told me that my eagle card with my poem had come in the mail; it took twelve days by air! The last few days I have been waiting for a call from Els, but will wait for tomorrow before calling her.

Last Sunday I joined Sarah and BJ and family for dinner. BJ’s Dad was also over, helping out now that Sarah has a job with Air Canada. Alec and Soleil were as lively as ever; it is hard to imagine that I must have had such energies as well at that age! But, I did take the bus and walked from Centre five blocks east to my dinner destination!

Yesterday Jack and I met for coffee and much talking, which is always an enjoyable and valued event for the both of us. Last Friday Herman and I met for lunch which lasted the usual two hours and for next Thursday Don and I plan to meet at Kingsland. Now coffee time with John 10:04am and back at 10:52am.

A generally applicable revelation becomes possible once all the traditions are able to hold each other in common regard and validity.

3. Extending the existing Narratives such that each acknowledges the other as partner in the human enterprise in the Mystery of Existence , that we are trying and learning to understand in our diversified ways, recognising that a single tradition is capable of revealing only a part of this Mystery, as each has to be specific to time, place, people and circumstance.

4. Do we recognise and understand the nature of our current global social situation? What is the situation of our human global community and what is it that we need to recognise and resolve?
[Can we describe our own TPPC?]
A generally applicable revelation becomes possible once all the traditions are able to hold each other in common regard and validity.
